House of Hope Foundation, Inc.

Founded in 1955, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit House of Hope Foundation, Inc., provides a safe, clean and sober, nurturing environment for substance abusing and substance dependent women.  Our mission is to help them regain their self awareness, spirituality, dignity, integrity and learn how to live life without alcohol and drugs.  We also seek to help them become financially responsible, re-establish family ties and be reunited with their children when possible.

The Foundation combines public resources and private donations for the operation of its facilities and the conduct of its programs.  House of Hope is governed by a 13-member Board of Directors and a Board of Regents.

House of Hope is:

Licensed and certified by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs,

Nondiscriminatory in its admission process, Partially funded by the Los Angeles County Alcoholism budget under a Residential Community Recovery Program (RCRP) contract and Proposition 36 contracts in cooperation with the courts.
